Location

The Blue Mountain ski area is located 17 miles north of Allentown, PA, about 75 miles from the Delaware Valley, 15 miles from the Lehigh Valley, and 165 miles from Baltimore, MD. Located only 75 miles from Philadelphia, Blue Mountain is the closest ski resort to the Philadelphia metro region.  

Blue Mountain ranks among the premiere skiing and riding destinations in the Poconos, boasting 33 trails, three runs of nearly a mile or more, and the highest vertical run in Pennsylvania. Nine lifts -- including a high-speed detachable quad and the region's only high-speed detachable six-passenger-lift -- afford skiers more time on the slopes and less in lift-lines. The mountain is fully lighted for evening adventure and includes three full-service lodges with cafeterias. Its four terrain parks, each suited to differing abilities and experience, combine to create the longest terrain park in the Poconos. New for the 2008-2009 season: the Blue Mountain Tubing Lodge and a new intermediate trail, Dreamweaver.
