Of all Pennsyvania skiing venues, Ski Denton is among the most remote, located as it is in the Black Forest region of north central Keystone State, a snowy, mountainous area forested in dark stands of pine and hemlock. However remote, the skiing area is not inaccessible and is situated along U.S. Route 6, the "Grand Army of the Republic" Highway.
