Canaan Valley Resort

Downhill skiers of all levels will enjoy the slopes at Canaan Valley. The 34 slopes include 30 percent beginner, 40 percent intermediate and 30 percent advanced runs. Snowshoe Mountain

Winterplace Ski Resort

Four ski resorts are found in Virginia, located near Interstate 81 (I-81) and the greater Shenandoah Valley region. Six ski areas are located in the north-central and northeastern section of Ohio, near Columbus and Cleveland. Wisp Resort, the single ski resort in Maryland is in the western-most part of the state, just 45 minutes from Morgantown, WV. More than 20 ski resorts and ski areas are located throughout Pennsylvania, including several found in the snow-covered  Poconos, near New York.
