near the entrance to Winterplace, the Ski Barn opens before the
lifts and remains open after the lifts close. For every

Our modern, fully-furnished cabin in the heart of the Greenbrier Valley is perfect for anglers, hikers, and sightseers alike. For 29 years we've hosted incomparable tours of West Virginia's
whitewater rivers, inspections of diverse wildlife, vegetation,
and beautiful scenery -- the backdrop for a 100-percent natural
experience. Since then, we've found that West Virginia can't be

with family and friends. Mountain River Tours guided
rafting trips range from leisurely float tours in the upper New
River Gorge to world-class whitewater on the Gauley River and
lower New. We provide cabins and campsites near our base camp at
the junction of U.S. 19 and the Midland Trail Scenic Highway
(U.S. 60). We're only five-minutes north of historic
Fayetteville and the New River Gorge Bridge, near plenty of

Since 1994, our rock-climbing school and guide service in
Fayetteville, WV, has introduced thousands to the fundamentals
of climbing in a safe, highly professional way. Our classroom is
the world-famous New River Gorge, one of the largest climbing
areas in the U.S., home of bullet-hard sandstone cliffs that
offer a tremendous variety of climbs in a stunning setting. We
offer beginner's full-day and two-day courses, full-day or
two-day intermediate courses, sports climbing and self-rescue
clinics, and group clinics. Our shop, Water Stone Outdoors,
carries complete lines of climbing equipment, climbing books,
and area climbing maps found nowhere else. We also offer one of
the nation's largest selections of climbing shoes, as well as
sandals, hiking boots, and approach shoes.
